Biography

I graduated with a batchelor's degree in Digital Media from the University of Central Florida in Orlando. Not satisfied by just being a full time DM student, I took a part time job working for the DM department. Once I was an active staff member of my department, I provided hardware and software support to students and faculty. I took the initiative to implement a database driven archive, which improved the security, accuracy, and speed of document and hardware safekeeping. As the Department's equipment administrator, I became very familiar with various audio and video hardware and software and their proper maintenance for optimal functionality. While in school, I worked in I had the opportunity to work on various projects for different companies and governmental institutions, such as UCF, Grandma's House and Pearson Publishing. I filmed, directed, edited, and produced several short videos which have been featured in faculty and commercial websites. I worked as a freelancer for a company called Simply Cinematic, where I worked on weddings and commercial video recording and editing. I have also apported to the community by producing videos for nonprofit organizations such as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Library of Congress. Prior to beginning my studies at UCF, I obtained my Associate's Degree from Valencia Community College (Orlando Florida), where I also worked as an Audio Visual Specialist.
Currently I work for IST-NSF (University of Central Florida & National Science Foundation) as a web designer and 3D modeler. On my spare time I am working on an indi 3D based game with a company called Dead Teddy Studios. My great motivation and criosity for the 3D environments has led me to the amazing world of 3D modeling. I have developed a passion for model creation, and as I improve my skills in 3D modeling, I keep finding the great potential that 3D skills have in the future of science and technology.
