Lunar Quest

Lunar Quest is a serious Massively Multiplayer Online Game (MMOG) embedded with basic physics content. Each player controls a Lunar Colonization Authority avatar, who is attempting to gain promotions within the organization. To do this, the player must explore and help colonize the moon. Quests and the rewards for their completion are designed to both allow the player to advance in the game, but also to advance their personal knowledge of physics concepts.

Visit the Lunar Quest web site to find out more about the game.

iPlay

This project consist of part reality part virtual world simulation. The idea was developed by Jeff Wirth, professor of Creativity and Problem Solving. We are putting a "Truman Show" style reality in which the participant is informed of the situation. The project is parallel to the movie "Total Recall" where our actor/participant is engaged in a story that takes place aside from the individuals everyday life.
The environment for the adventure is composed of a mixed reality scenario, which places our "hero" in situations in both, the real and the virtual worlds. I will be working with a group of 3D modelers to recreate these virtual environments where the individual will have the ability to take a roll as a virtual character.
